Menu Controls

Left Stick / D-Pad: Select options / Move cursor
 button: Confirm / Skip messages
button: Cancel / Go back
 button: Options screen (Main Menu)
/ : Page through displays

The controls in this menu assume that the default controls (Type A) are selected.
Go to Button Configuration in the Options screen to change your controls.

Battle Controls

Left stick: Move
D-pad (up/left/right): Unleash support character effect
button: Attack
button: Character-unique attack
button: Jump
button: Guard
Move left stick when guarding: Sidestep
+ ( button / button /  button): Special attack (1/2/3)
: Unleash Abilities
: Swap out 1
: Swap out 2
Press (When Burning Gauge is at max): Awaken
Press (When Awakened): Ultimate Attack
Menu button: Pause Menu
D-pad (down): Change camera distance

Controls in Battle

Left stick (down) +  button: Ranged attack
Left stick (down) +  button: Character-unique attack 2
button +  button: Guard Break
button +  button: Heavy Guard Break
Move right stick (left or right): Camera control
